(Co-President of Fall 2016 - Spring 2017)

I used to think of KUBS as my baby. Jimmy and I served as Co-Presidents when it was KUBS’ first year as an official Wharton club, and I was ready to do whatever it takes to nurture and care for this newborn. Like a new mom, I would obsess over things that now seem trivial and overthink about matters to make sure things would go flawlessly. These rookie struggles were compensated with rewarding experiences. Then at some point, I realized (thanks to Jimmy) that what mattered more than “being a perfect club” was making sure that KUBS members were having a good time – this had been the reason I had so much affection for KUBS in the first place. Since my freshman year, KUBS was where I felt a strong sense of belonging. Some of my favorite memories at Penn involved people I met through KUBS.

KUBS has achieved so much in a short period of time. For this reason, I was a proud parent, but all the while KUBS had also helped me grow as an individual. From my 2014-2016 marketing committees all the way to the 2016-2017 board, I was fortunate to have worked with so many inspirational people that I respect tremendously. Every interaction with a member taught me something new, and I can honestly say that I was happy the past three years thanks to KUBS. I am incredibly honored and thankful to be a part of this amazing family, and I am excited to find out where KUBS will be down the road!
