Hosun Chung

(Co-President of Fall 2015 - Spring 2016)

It is an incredible honor to write this letter. My name is Hosun Chung and I have served as Co-President of Wharton Korea 2015-2016 along with the one and only Min Ki Kim. When I was a high school student, I had no idea where I wanted to attend college. Through participating in Business Black Box 2011, KUBS showed me the amazing culture of collaboration and mentorship. Coming to Penn a year later, KUBS naturally was the first organization I joined. Honestly, throughout college and especially with the culture at Penn, there is unnecessary pressure to be the best, to be better than others, to hide our vulnerabilities, and just keep charging forward. However, it is incredibly important to have a genuine community to just be yourself in. In the midst of fast-paced college life, KUBS was always there for me and taught me what a supportive community should be like. That is why I have been and will continue to be passionate to KUBS. I have grown so much through my experience with this organization and hope future members will continue to have the same amazing opportunity.

Warmest,

From Philadelphia,

Hosun
